Dr. Logan Cooper is the owner and founder of OMT Specialists, LLC and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He teaches medical doctors (MDs), osteopathic physicians (DOs), and physical therapists (PTs) how to perform manual medicine, and co-authors the national certification exam for PTs completing this advanced training.
Board-certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT), Dr. Cooper also holds multiple certifications, including Functional Manual Medicine, CSCS, SFMA, FMS, Titleist Performance Institute Medical Level 3, M.E.L.T. Hand & Foot Instruction, and RockTape’s Rock Doc credential. He previously served on the 2012 U.S. Paralympic Sailing Performance Enhancement Team.
Outside of his clinical and teaching work, Dr. Cooper is passionate about rock climbing, competing in age group half-Ironman triathlons, martial arts, Texas Hold’em, and home-roasting coffee and brewing beer. He enjoys balancing his active professional life with quality time spent with family.
