Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (East Lansing, MI) where he teaches Medical Doctors (MDs), Osteopathic Physicians (DOs) and other Physical Therapists (PTs) how to perform manual medicine along with co-writing and co-chairing the National Certification exam for physical therapists who complete that training. Board certified as a Specialists in Orthopedics, Certified in Functional Manual Medicine, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Certified in SFMA and FMS, Titleist Performance Institute Medical Level 3, Certified M.E.L.T. Hand & Foot Instructor, member of the 2012 US Paralympic Sailing Performance Enhancement Team. He is also certified by RockTape as a Rock Doc!
When Dr. Cooper is not at work, you can find him spending time with his family or participating in one of his many other passions in life, including: rock climbing, competing in age group half-ironman triathlons, playing pool, playing Texas Hold’em Poker, performing martial arts, home-roasting coffee, and home-brewing beer.
